UKVI Study Visa changes in 2025: what you need to know

Starting from January 2025, the UKVI has implemented changes to the proof of living expenses required for international students. Here are the key updates:

London: £1,450 per month for living expenses.
Other regions of the UK: £1,125 per month for living expenses.
Duration: These amounts are for a minimum of nine months.
Proof of Funds: Students must provide evidence of these funds in their bank account for at least 28 consecutive days before submitting their visa application.
Additional Requirements: If applicable, students must also provide other financial documents proving their ability to cover living expenses during the course.
